Gloves weaken grip strength – this is a known fact when it comes to lifting. Unfortunately, lifting without gloves leads to rough, torn up palms, that may be manly in some ways, but sucks to have if you are a professional that depends on your hands (ie physician or someone that depends on having hands that aren’t rough and calloused).
Grip power pads have solved two issues for me at an affordable price – I no longer have to worry about loss of grip strength (especially on those dead lifts) and I no longer have to worry about having rough torn up palms that make patients cringe during a physical exam.
Will definitely buy again and I highly recommend these to anyone who lifts regularly.
